How Skid Management Services describes its work
Skid Management Services describes itself as a supplier of wood pallets and skids for shipping goods, moving heavy equipment and running distribution work. The company says York is its main ground, with Harrisburg and Lancaster also covered. Its website goes further and names Maryland, Midwest markets and nationwide shipping.
The company states it works with manufacturers, 3PL providers and distribution centers that need a steady pallet supply. It says it builds long-term supply relationships rather than one-off sales. In practice, the company describes learning a client's volume, setting recurring delivery schedules and keeping supply steady across locations.
Homes in York have a median build year of 1941, per the American Community Survey (2024). The town averages 44.6 inches of precipitation and 26.5 inches of snow a year, per NOAA normals for 1991 to 2020.
Bulk wood pallet supply
The website lists bulk stock that includes heat-treated export pallets, block pallets and standard 48x40 GMA pallets. The company reports drawing on its own inventory and a wider supplier network to keep pallets available. It says this lets it turn orders around fast.
Beyond supply, the company names a buy-back and recycling program that pays for excess pallets. It also describes a product destruction service with full paperwork and chain-of-custody tracking.
Google reviewers give the company 5.0 stars across 10 reviews. They mention quick responses and clear communication most, along with dependable delivery and fair prices.
The company says it has built its reputation on one habit: doing what it says it will do.
